A proper waxed cotton hunting jacket in a warm tobacco brown, with the wax broken in exactly the way you want it — the shell has that lived-in marbled patina across the back and sleeves that only comes from actual wear. Corduroy collar and cuffs in a darker brown, and a green and yellow tartan flannel lining through the body that makes it good well into the cold.
Four flap patch pockets on the front over a snap placket and full zip. Cinch tabs at the lower back, action pleats through the shoulders. It is the kind of jacket that gets better every year and this one has already done the hard part.
